Mission Statement |
Mission Statement: “a charitable foundation designed to benefit abused, endangered, or underprivileged children and adults along with the agencies of similar goals.”
The Comal Cops for Kids Foundation is a newly formed non-profit corporation, designed to raise funds for the benefit of other charitable organizations that support law enforcement efforts to better serve the children of Comal County, Texas.

Tommy Ward, President
|
Shannon C. Francis, Vice-President
Shannon has served as a board member for the Comal Cops for Kids Foundation since its inception in 2009. As the Juvenile Prosecutor for the Comal County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, Shannon has had the pleasure to work with multiple local law enforcement agencies, including the Comal County Sheriff’s Office, New Braunfels Police Department, Bulverde Police Department, Garden Ridge Police Department, Comal County Fire Marshall, and New Braunfels Fire Department. During her time in Comal County, Shannon has seen the dedication and passion that our local law enforcement have for the protection and safety of our community’s children, and she considers it a privilege to be a part of an organization dedicated to furthering the efforts of those agencies. Shannon graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Political Science and received her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. She is also involved with the Comal County Juvenile Board, Comal County Bail Bond Board, Connections Community Teen Court, the SART Foundation of Comal County, and the Children’s Advocacy Center of Comal County, including its Multidisciplinary Team, Drug Endangered Children Team, and the Baby Moses Program.
